There are always flowers for those who want to see them.
Henri Matisse, French artist
I often think that Artists may have a way of looking at life which always recognises the light and the dark, the rough and the smooth, the bright and the understated. I wonder if it encourages them to develop an acceptance it “what is” knowing that the moment will pass and it will change. A strength of observation that allows them so always sees the bigger picture and the smaller detail no matter how small the flower or feature. Today I looked across at the empty children's playing field and was filled with joy at seeing little swathes of wild flowers in a rainbow of colours and heard the bees busying away collecting their pollen. At that moment I felt grateful that I wanted to see the flowers and take time to be with them. I can feel a daisy chain coming on.
