The power of thought

The soul becomes dyed by the colour of its thoughts.

Marcus Aurelius, Roman emperor.

Never underestimate the power of thought. Did you know that when we think a negative thought or something unkind our muscles weakens and our energy levels drops? There is a muscle testing technique that demonstrates this. However, the flip side of the coin is that when we think kindly and positively our strength returns and we reclaim our more vibrant energy. Here is my simple thinking on this. If we choose to think colourfully, seeing brightness, noticing a splash of colour, adding words of positivity to conversations and generally having a cup half full then we are encouraging our energy and vitality to be up there which will exude from our soul. If the opposite happens and we dwell and keep ourselves absorbed in dark and dim thoughts, perhaps expressing a lot of negativity toward others then I believe that we feel dimmer and heavier and less colourful. It is a fact that everything starts with a though so I invite you to be the gatekeeper of your thoughts. We all have the choice to colour our soul and if would like some help with that nature is all around you to be your forever helper.
